Well... just looking at the photo-realistic depiction here— I can't say I've ever seen anything quite like these, either!
The golems and air fortresses I've grown used to certainly don't measure up.

How long is it that you've been piloting?

Hehe... boring isn't always necessarily a bad thing, but, yes!
Our kingdom is nestled among the clouds, so you could say air fortresses were a natural course of action for us.

The Blackbird, however, wasn't capable of throwing a punch, unlike this DAHAK appears to be doing.

Where I came from we all lived above the clouds and I was starting to think I was the only one! Adah lived on an airship but I think the land everyone lived on was beneath it

A flying fortress throwing a punch would be pretty cool though...

Oh, I would love to hear more about your homeworld sometime, in that case! There are... some people that live on the surface back home, but our society does, erm— thrive above the clouds. Technological and magical advancements have made it all possible.
