AUR01 - Ulysses

Hello, everyone! Before I begin, I'd just like to say not to get too [...] excited. This is a new phenomenon under investigation, so temper your expectations accordingly!

Everyone's expectations tempered? Good!

The Verne Point Observatory has spied another landmass to the West, and while we're not accustomed to tracking the movement of this sort of body, it might be [...] approaching us. And if our estimates are correct, it should be at us in a couple weeks.

Now, nobody panic, please! We may not know what will happen when it arrives, but we're all busy working out a plan and will keep an eye on this whole situation as it approaches. For all we know, this could just be the world's own attempt to repair itself!

As for the approaching patch of land in question, all I can say is that it's very [...] green. And large. We're trying to get a closer look at it, but the angle's a little tricky. But don't worry, we'll keep you posted. Besides, you'll probably be able to see it with the naked eye in a few days!

But that's enough out of me. Talk among yourselves, Starfallen! I'd love to know what you think of all this. -𝒜

P.S.: Altitude 06, azimuth 281 for all you aspiring Starseers out there!

[ooc: This will be a catchall for the Starfallen to discuss this new turn of events. Characters can make top-level comments and continue from there; Aurora will, of course, have one of her own.]

What about building some kind of structure to bridge Concord with this new landmass, so that more of us will have the opportunity to explore it? If we can project its current course then we should have a rough idea of where to start building one, right?

Is that even a feasible idea?
