Plan 02: Hot or Not?

It's been a hell of a month for everybody, hasn't it? Those reflections are taking a toll on a lot of people. I'd say I can empathize, but my reflection turned around and left after about three minutes, so I've just been bored this month as everyone else is preoccupied with themselves. But, I got an idea. I spent a few weeks in a gnome city back home. They had devices similar to the Nunitorium here, and from time to time they'd write up big social events for people to participate in to pass the time. Given this world's propensity for... intimate relations, I figure it would be fun to make use of one of them here.

The game is called Hot or Not, and the rules are simple. Put your name underneath this header. Or, put a friend's name, for added fun. Others can then comment on how hot they are. If you don't want your handwriting to give you away, use hearts! ❤ means "Eh..." and ❤❤❤❤❤ means "Sweet Bahamut take me now". I figure we could all use a bit of fun to balance out everything else this month.

We were all co-owners of and crewmates on an airship, so the main qualification was that you were chipping in to buy an airship. Our party was a pretty motley one. Air pirates to scientists to forgotten princes. But they all meant well. Well, Adah didn't at first but she mellowed out.

Yeah, well... She's WAS a sky pirate. To be honest, I wasn't too keen on it to begin with. But I can see she really does mean to go straight. Also, I can tell she's got some ghosts haunting her.

And I mean... yeah she killed people, but it's not like she tried to summon a eldritch abomination with the intent of killing off what little life remained in the world. So on the scale of crime, she's only in the mid range of possible offenses.

Wow, it sounds kinda bad when I say it that way.

I like this place. It's very nice! It still feels weird to see so much dirt and wood around, and for it to be so cheap.

As for my previous world... I was happy. I mean, I was born into that world so it was normal to me. I was born into a poor farming community, but we all took care of each other so there was always a great sense of community. After I started adventuring, the magic I gained as paladin caused me to be happier than I should be. So as I learned how bad things were, it didn't hit me as hard.

Now that my mind is clearer, it casts a different light on my previous life. But hey, makes me more encouraged to protect THIS world.

Well, I don't know enough to give you a complete answer. But the oath I had taken was all about both protecting and enjoying life. So... I started getting happy. And it never stopped. Towards the end, I was starting to see extra colors that weren't there. While it did make paintings I had seen my whole life much more vivid, it was also a tad bit concerning.

When I came here, it stopped. I don't feel down though, I just feel more clear headed.
